The goal was to create a play area whose theme is consistent with the centre's context: Marseille and Provence. The structure was designed without ground anchoring in order to preserve the existing surface, with an inclusive design suited to a wide variety of disabilities.
The challenge was also about loyalty: increasing dwell time, improving the customer journey, raising the return rate and enhancing the family experience.

For Pop Up Provençal, we imagined two immersive play areas inspired by Provencal heritage, designed as vehicles for cultural transmission to the youngest. Through themes, shapes and atmospheres, children discover the architectural and landscape references of the region in a playful way.

EPDM spheres, a tree trunk, a sliding plane, wall games, a hopscotch, an EPDM mushroom and rabbit and fox sculptures make up these worlds. The structures were designed as standalone, temporary and inclusive ensembles.

The project develops overall and fine motor skills, stimulates the imagination and encourages physical activity. It allows children to engage with cultural heritage through play, strengthens their well-being and self-confidence, and fosters social interaction and inclusiveness.
