Project details
Children explore parents breathe
At the heart of the Carré Sénart customer journey, the goal was to create a destination dedicated to families, able to give children a memorable experience while letting parents enjoy their visit in peace. This overall project is built around two complementary spaces, an immersive nursery and an outdoor play area in front of the Food Court, which together form a true playful and educational universe.
The 260 m² outdoor play area in front of the Food Court extends the Miniverts universe outdoors: an adventure course where children can explore, climb, play and burn off energy.
Designed as a high-value service for families, this installation strengthens the appeal of the shopping centre and makes it a distinctive place to spend time.
How do you create a true Family Experience inside a shopping centre?
With "La Clairière des Miniverts" (The Miniverts’ Glade), we brought to life an immersive universe built around the storytelling developed by True Stories. Seven endearing characters inhabit the Clairière and invite children to explore a world inspired by nature. Our mission was to translate this narrative into concrete play experiences, through the design and construction of spaces that foster motor skills, imagination and social interaction.
Outside, the adventure continues with the Miniverts Adventure Trail : climbing nests, suspension bridges, a climbing net and an XXL tubular slide extend the universe naturally, alongside a natural relaxation area. It follows on from the 300 m² immersive nursery that welcomes children indoors.
The whole project was designed with an eco-responsible approach, favouring noble, natural materials in order to pass on to children values of respect for the environment, sharing and discovery.
The aerial course develops active motor skills, strengthens balance, coordination and agility, and invites everyone to push their limits. The narrative universe stimulates the imagination and group games encourage sharing, while the natural relaxation area lets families catch their breath: a playful, enriching and memorable experience for the whole family.
