Project details
A sculptural landmark for a new shopping centre
Open Park Cormontreuil, a new shopping centre developed by D2M Immobilier, wanted a structuring, visible and distinctive feature, able to become a strong landmark in the retail landscape. The project consists of a bespoke, freestanding play structure backed against a wall, integrated into a contemporary, landscaped architectural environment.
The installation complies with ERP and NF EN 1176 standards, and is durable and easy to clean and maintain.
With Pétales Lumineux, we imagined a contemporary play sculpture, all undulations and curves, inspired by the natural movement of petals.
Standing 5 metres high, this structure becomes a true visual signature of the site, visible from the road and designed to leave a lasting impression. Its luminous, changing design creates an immersive and artistic experience, amplified by a mirror wall that multiplies perspectives and colour effects.
More than a play area, Pétales Lumineux is an interactive work that combines design, safety and physical challenge, at the heart of a place dedicated to shopping, relaxation and family enjoyment.
Bleu & Associés supported us through a genuine co-construction process to adapt our idea to the constraints of the site and develop the Climber prototype through to its final version. Their understanding of the challenges, their listening and their rigour turned an ambitious concept into a piece of equipment perfectly integrated into OPEN PARK.
The project develops active motor skills and strength, and works on coordination and balance. The light effects offer a sensory, immersive experience.
Climbing

Exploring
A look around, to spot and discover.
Imagining
A moment to imagine, dream and invent.
