Bleu & Associés × TigerPlay: a strategic partnership for unique play experiences

At Bleu & Associés, we create play spaces that express a place’s identity and inspire families to discover it. To build on this approach, we have formed a strategic partnership with TigerPlay, a British specialist in bespoke indoor play environments, whose exclusive partner we are in France.

Our shared ambition is to create play spaces that combine distinctive design, thoughtful planning and the joy of play, with particular attention to users’ needs.

Two family businesses, one shared vision

With over twenty years of international experience, TigerPlay shares our passion for signature projects and our commitment to supporting clients throughout their journey. This partnership brings together our knowledge of the French market and our expertise in design and project management with TigerPlay’s design and manufacturing capabilities.

From Kids Parks to Play Cafés: spaces designed for every use

A Kids Park for active play and exploration, a Play Café that brings play and socialising together, or a children’s area within a family-friendly venue: each project calls for a different response.

Together, we aim to develop concepts in which the visual identity, activities and spatial layout form a coherent whole. Climbing structures, slides, role play, soft play and quieter areas are carefully combined to suit the age groups, available space and intended experience.

This approach also extends to residential settings, from private playrooms to shared spaces within residential developments. The aim is to integrate play into the architecture and families’ everyday lives, with the same attention to materials, finishes and functionality.

Sensory rooms: better support for additional needs

Through its Tigersense approach, TigerPlay also brings expertise in sensory room design, particularly for children and adults with additional needs.

These spaces can cater to different preferences: exploring textures, shapes and lighting, or finding a quiet environment in which to rest and take a break from busy surroundings. Their design starts with users’ needs, with particular consideration for neurodiversity.

We aim to bring this approach to public-facing settings, including shopping centres, hotels, leisure venues, cultural spaces, schools and transport hubs. Depending on the setting, a dedicated room or a quiet sensory retreat can create a more welcoming experience, allowing everyone to enjoy their visit at their own pace.

Kids Park Color: our first joint creation in Nîmes

Created for the Mercialys Group at SHOP PARK Cap Costières in Nîmes, Kids Park Color marks a successful first collaboration between Bleu & Associés and TigerPlay.

Elevated playhouses, bold colours, high-level play routes and a spiral slide come together to create a signature space. A crocodile motif reflects Nîmes’ local identity, while the active design flooring extends the invitation to move and play. This unique project brings our complementary strengths to life through a play experience closely connected to the identity of its setting.
